These works were created between 1997 - 1998, and were statements painted to expose aspects of Greg's world as he interpreted them: part of an all encompassing circus. Painted during the time of the White House scandal with Monica Lewinski, among other happenings, Greg felt the need to somehow capture the absurdity of all that was happening.

Unfortunately, no picture exists of his work 'Mixed Nuts', which portrays the White House flying a pirate flag, and it appears to be sinking into the ground. The banner above reads, 'Mixed Nuts', referring to the various members of the White House Staff, and most notably, the President himself. To the left a sign reads, ".25 cent Peep Show", reducing the White House to nothing more than a dirty venue. As he pondered different advancements in science at the time, as well as what he believed to be a 'ridiculous' sham of a government, sarcastic ideas began to pour out of his head, and the 'Freak Show Series' was born. Many pieces of this series were exhibited in Los Angeles, some of which have been sold.

In 2005, the paintings 'DOLLY' and 'ODDITY ON PARADE' were used as part of the set of 'Bobby's Big Top'
